Help needed with Kitt Replica Starting Problems
HI There
I am new to the Thirdgen boards but have owned 3rd gens for 10 years. first a 1986 firebird (kitt replica), second a 25th anniversary Camaro RS and now i have a 1991 firebird 3.1 V6 (Kitt replica).
I have been told that this is the place to get help for any sorts of F-Body problems by a friend.
My problem is this.....KITT won't start!!!!
It cranks but wont start up. A mechanic friend had a look and says it may be throwing too much petrol in to where the spark plugs are.
How do i read the ECU thing manually? i remember it has something to do with a paperclip? also, how do i read the flashes of ther SES light (if any).
When i get the code (if there is one), how do i know what it means?
Has anyone else encountered this problem before?
