spark it up !!
some of your knowledge is what im looking for here...
have anyone switched to a distributorless ignition?
i was considering getting that xdi ignition by electromotive
but i wanted to see if anyone has done this already and if you have any advice
is it worth the money?
how much of a diffrence is there?
any increase in horsepower/ torque?
im in the tail end of rebuilding my motor and this would be the time for me to decide where or not i want to get a new msd dissy and dig 6 box or just switch it over to that xdi ignition
any info would be greatly appreciated
thanks everyone
ps my motor is a 350 with first gen trickflow heads hydrolic roller lpe 219 219 560 560 112 cam je lightweight pistons 10.25:1 comp and the induction is goin to be either the first setup or miniram/lt1 intake .. since that damn super ram is no longer being made!!
anyhow thanks again

Id suggest talking to Dave Ray, he was a GM designer. Still build for race teams and racers. He knows all the cool folks in the biz and is great to get talking when he isn't busy. When he speaks, folks listen. He is very very particlar on what parts he uses in a buld as most stuff sold is BS sticker'ed up junk. Just know he is kinda like Roy on American Hotrod, he knows his stuff but will go off on folks. But in the same manor, its cool because he has earned that right. What he says can be chisled in stone without worry.
I always tell folks all this to prepare them but also this is one guy you wanna befriend if possiable. CONNECTIONS
small bodies reffers to the size of the dis, he uses the older point type bodies to build off of. But it don't matter what kind of engine it is or the body style.
