most common problem with these motors is the plastic gear inside the plastic housing cracking. aslso check your reverse and limiter switchs. I can't remember a motor actually burning out in these things, so I doubt that's the issue. Just pull the thing out, disassemble it, and see what you have going on. they're really basic. any replacment part that you may need can be bought at Top Down Solutions
