i recently put an l98 into my rs camaro. the motor came out of an '87 iroc. the wiring harness came from a '90 firebird 5.0. i have the 7730 ecm and have a speed density chip programmed for the motor. i put a 90-92 5.7 knock sensor, oil pressure sending unit, and map sensor in it.

problem i'm having is my fuel level guage and oil pressure guage don't work. i also have a starting problem. when it starts, it starts great. when it doesn't, the solenoid doesn't even tick....there is nothing. the tach, when it works, is way off. i put a guage cluster from a 92 z28 in it with the v-8 tach and the 145 mph speedo and was working before the swap although the tach was off then due to it being a v-6 at the time.


any suggestions?
