Autometer water temp gauge

I'm probably going to be getting one of these and I've been checking them out. I have a few questions though....

Since my stock gauge reads from 100-260 do I have to get another one that reads the same? I've seen some that goes from 100-250, 100-260, 140-280, etc... does that matter?

What's the best all round autometer water temp gauge? I know that obviously the more expensive ones may be better, but if I don't need to spend top $$ to get a solid accurate guage then I'm not going to. I've been looking in my Classic Industries Camaro catalog and I've seen them list from $39 on up to over $100. Also do they all light up in the dark when you turn your instrument lights on?

You can get whatever temp range you'd like, I'm running a 100-250 I believe. I picked up one of the black Sport Comp series gauges and I like it. Mine lights up the same color as the other stock gauges, just that stock yellowish color.
