voltage drop

voltage drop

randomly my car's voltage will drop 3-4 volts while driving and some electronics go weird. [lights go dimmer, fuel pump not getting enough juice, misfire, etc.]ive replaced both the alternator and battery.

ideas?

The 3600W sound system? It pulls more than twice as much as the starter...
Seriously, look for bad connections in the main wiring from bat/starter to key.

already did, checked grounds, fuseable links. monitored the alternator and battery during idle, and they're all fine. i jiggled all the grounds around while idling and they're all on tight

Do you have stock alternator? Maybe you should change to a bit bigger?

im replacing the alternator with a 140amp next week and im gonna install a out of tank fuel pump. hopefully that will fix it
