alright ive got a couple of gauges and lighted switches i want to wire up. my two questions are.

1.) what wire would be a good wire to splice for the gauges behind the dash? i looked at a couple wiring diagrams and they didnt say anything about dash lights. btw i want to splice into the stock gauge wiring b/c i want my new gauge lights to come on at the same time as my stock dash lights.

2.) on my lighted switchs should i wire an inline fuse? i have three switches and id like to splice a hot wire and wire all the switches with that wire. but im curious about the inline fuse.
