ID-ing Delay vs NON-Delay Wiper Motor Assy & Model Yr XRef?
I've gone through the archives, my wiring diagram (1984 V6) and I 'THINK' I can swap out the wiper motor assembly (really it's the 'cover' with delay circuitry) AND the steering column switch to achieve an OEM delay function.
Presuming I'm correct (please correct me if I'm wrong) and by changing the wiper motor assembly and the column mounted switch - 2 questions:
1) How do I 'identify' a wiper motor assembly with cover that has the built in circuitry for the 'delay' mode feature?
2) What year(s) does this particular motor fit/come from? 82-87? 84-87? ...? Also if anybody knows - what is the GM part# for the assembly?
Thanks,
PS: Again I'm presuming the wiring harness to be the same regardless but if my presumption is inaccurate please let me know.
