need help can't start
My car has been sitting for about a month with out starting and I went to start it yesterday and it wouldn't start no matter how much I cranked it. I check for spark at the distributor. I got very little spark too almost no spark. I went out today and got a new ignition control module and replaced that and it still wont start. Anyone have any ideas on what I can do to solve this problem? Please help THANKS

Alright here is the story from start to finish....I had gotten in an accident with my car in 2004. Where I was pushed into another car. I wanted to do all of the work myself. I took my car out of storage this summer and it wouldn't start. I replaced the fuel pump and she started right up like there was nothing wrong. At this point I decided to take the front end off to fix the body panels. I got everything fix and put back together and I went to start the car and she start but ran very ruff. There was alot of popping in the exhaust and she wouldn't keep idle and she would stall out when put into drive. I let her sit for a day or two and now all she does is crank and she wont start at all. I wasn't getting much spark so we did some check and I thought it would be the ignition control module. I replaced that and she stil wont start at all. It is a regular crank. There is no wierd noices while cranking. I don't know where to go from here. Could the coil be bad. Please leave your ideas.

If you've got spark, spray some throttle body cleaner into the throttle body & see if it runs. Next, check your fuel pressure. Make sure Fuel pressure matches OEM specs. Post back & we'll go from there.

Alright I did a ton of checking on everything.......I have all the spark I need. I am not getting any fuel......I checked the fuel pressure and it is at specs. I check the fuel filter and that is clean. I took all of the fuel injectors off and I put power to one of them to see if they are clogged and it opened up and fuel came out. The only thing I can think of is the diaphram inside the fuel pressure reglator so I was going to put a new diaphram in but I was going to get to see if people have other ideas. Please help if you have an idea!

Need A Noid Light
Put a noid light on one of the injectors to see if the ECM is firing them. Also, pull the vac line off the Fuel Press Reg (FPR), if there's no gas in it leave the diaphram alone.
From what you describe, if you spray throttle body cleaner in the throttle body the engine should run.
Post back findings,
