Sudden power cutout?

Hey Guys

I have an '86 TA. I was going to start my car last night, and everything
was fine. I turn the key to start it, and everything,
and I mean EVERYTHING, just cuts out, dead. Nothing
at all. We try a jump start, no help at all, still
got nothing. I take the battery out and hook it to
the charger/voltmeter, voltmeter says it's fully
charged (which is exactly how it was acting before I
tried to start the car).

What's wrong?

Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

Sounds like a fuseable link on the starter.

Thank you very much for responding johnny. Thats what a lot of people were telling us.

In the end, it was just loose battery connections.
