TPI Electric problems

I have a problem when I try to fire up the engine when it is hot. When it is cold it starts right up. I found out that there is no current going to the injectors. I thought this might be a grounding problem. I took out the transmission past weekend to get to the grounds on the back of the engine and make sure they were good. Ran some new grounds as well. Put everything back in and still have the same problem. Very frustrating!! Any suggestions of what to check next???

do you not have current to the injectors when its cold also or is just when its hot? if so then check to see if you have power coming to them from the ECM, or you may have high resistance in the wires to the injectors, and that would explain when its cold it firing up since resistance increases with tempurature. check to see the resistance of the wires, or better yet do a voltage drop test on them, shouldn't get more than .1-.3 volt drop across those wires.

Could be also for example the distributor, coil or connections. If the distributor doesn't send a signal to the coil which in turn doesn't fire, the ECM doesn't see the tach signal and doesn't fire the injectors. It's a chain reaction.

Check that you have spark. Then check for the tach signal on the ECM. Check the injector fuses, power, signal from ECM. That'll tell you a lot.
