temp guage
temp guage is unresponsive. all wires are connected. Some times it will flicker. sometimes it will peg itself. and if i tap on the guage it will work. odd i know. anyone have a chart that traces all the connections associated with that guage. jct wires and grounds, ect.
would it be difficult to run guages independant from the main wire harness (autometer guages) or does the ecm require information from the sending units?

You have a loose ground.
Most likely it’s on the dash PCB.
If you prefer to install an independent
gage you can go from the sender
supplied, directly to your new gage.
In non-race cars I use digital gages
for better resolution.
