I have a 87 camaro, when i turn the key forward there is no beeping noise or the gauges don't zero out. Its like the batterys dead, i put a new battery, but did not do nothing. I already swaped out two electronic ignition switchs and still nothing works. Is there a realy to the ignition wireing or any other thing that causes a short, i have not installed anything electronical. If so does anyone have a diagram or picture on how to fix this. Please help!!!!

 

Anything else dead? Lights, fans etc.? Try autozone.com for wiring diagrams.
Could it be one of those pesky fuse links down by the starter?

You've got to start doing some troubleshooting. Look at the diagram and start checking for 12v at fusible links and go from there - don't forget the simple things like fuses & grounds
