Part number for open IAT

Does anyone know the part number for the open element IAT sensor?

This one:
http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/o...tail-p-62.html

Or the application it came on?

This IAT outputs the same resistance as the stock TPI IAT, correct?

You can try #TS83631 at Advance Auto Parts (PartsAmerica.com).
The application for this sensor is a V6 engine.

BTW, the stock TPI IAT sensor is not an IAT sensor in fact, it's just a plain ole' CTS. That would explain why the ECM sees "130 degrees" on a 60-degree day.

Since this sensor will have different resistances at any given temperature then the stocker, will I need to re calibrate any parameters in the ECM?

Looking through the tables on my MAF car I dont see any tables that relate to intake air temperature. What does it affect?

No need to recalibrate the ECM. This sensor has identical electrical parameters.

Cheers!
