i just bought an 83 firebird the other day.. when i turn on the headlights they both come up and the lights work, but when i turn them off only one goes down. the other makes no noise or even tries to go down, but the light turns off. i cant find any info for this elsewhere, except for a bad gear and grinding noises.. but it doesnt even try to close.. so please help.. thanks -matt

 

ok lemme answer my own question.. incase anyone else has this problem.. i took the plastic piece around the headlight off and took out the bulb, then i looked for the wires that go to the light motor. there is a small black plastic clip. mine was disconnected, reconnected and viola fixed. i had to take the black vent off of the bumper to reach the clip.. hope this helps anyone else. -Matt
