windshield wiper relay?

The delay on my wipers does not work. Is there a relay for windsheild wipers on a 1986 trans am. or a relay ever related to wipers?

It only works on lo and hi and both selections are teh same lo speed. and wipers don't come on while in delay.

Wiper motor relay

I had an 86 Trans Am myself until some crazy ol lady blew a stop sign and t-boned me, but I had the same problem with my trans am. If you have a repair manual look in the back of the book index and look for the wiper relay and it should find out that it is attached under the dash board, but make sure that the color codes are correct that go to it. It might be faulty, and the other solution is that it could be in your steering collum. The switch that is attach to it could be bad also. That's the best advice that I could give you.

ok perfect. I wasn't even sure if there was a relay to begin with. I'll check the back of my manual. Thanks a bunch!
