She wont start!!!!

well i recently wrecked my 86 camaro. it punctured the batery (got a new one) and broke some kind of relay (napa says it was an accessorys relay so im not to worried about that) but other then that it was just my condensor and alot of body damage and my wiring harness for my head lights was cut. but she wont start. so far ive pulled my distributor cap cleaned everything in there (it snowed bad recently and my engine got alittle wet.) i dryed all that out. then i checked for spark and its gettin plenty. tomorrow im pullin the spark plugs and checkin those (pretty sure there ok just changed them a couple months ago.) but then were going to check timing. mabey the impact screwed up my timing. but if all that checks out ok then what should i do? the only thing i can think of after that is pulling all my relays and making sure there all dry.

any ideas? she turns over and starts for a fraction of a second but then shuts off. and it smells like gas. so im guessin that timing is probaby the best bet.

thanks
jake

Is this V6 MFI? If it is, I'd find a way to insure the fuel pump is priming/running. If that fails, take the ignition module out, and have it tested.
