anyone have any ideas on slow window motors..really slow to the point I need to help them a little? The windows are clean and seem free of obstructions. Could it be the motors are tired?

Yep, I want help with mine too. I have a different motor in each door, and the LHS (passenger) door is faster. Also they get slower with the door trims on (excess drag).
New cars' windows are that fast they would nearly cut your hand off in comparison!! Will new motors help?

Sure, some motors are 20+ years old (listing the year of your car can be helpful, by the way). Replacement and/or cleaning the tracks (years of accumulated gunk can slow things down) will no doubt provide more speed, but given the design, the up-down action will never rival the speed of new cars.

time for new motor(s)
its old
ben used a billion times
motors dont last forever, just like we dont
replace them
and while oyure in there lube up the tracks and rollers real good
new motors dont cost alot, parts stores have them locally, or can get them in a day or two at the most, its no big deal at all
drill the rivets out that hold them in place and swap them
