Rewiring a Camaro fuse block
I am building my Camaro for limited street use, so it needs working lights and such, but mainly for track use, what I want to know is, are the stock fuse blocks able to be rewired? I have a completely stripped shell that I am going to redo and a majority of the wiring has been remove (not by me). I am looking at the Painless harness kit, but I don't feel the urge to drop $400 on a harness when I am quite able to rewire a harness myself.
So anyone rewired a fuse block? I am looking to custom wire it for dual fuel pumps and nitrous and such, going to use the empty heating and AC things for anything non-original to the car.....any suggestions, comments or experience wisdom to pass on??

I have been told by Dyno Don that the painless harness is to short for the TPI motors so I'd be careful getting one of those.

I have rewired before with a Painless TPI harness and didnt have any trouble, but then again it was the 4' longer one too, and that looked like it was only a few inches long enought.
But I am rewiring the chassis harness not the TPI stuff......there currently is no TPI under the hood!!
