Camaro electric mirror wiring & switches in a firebird questions

I want to add power mirrors to my 82 trans am but don't want the hassles of finding a upper console and lifting the carpet etc etc.

I have heard camaro's have there switches in the doors and thought this could be a easier way to put power mirrors in my car without major hassles. If this is how the camaro is can someone please post a picture for me.

Also I assume early camaro's used the same door handle trim as my car is this true as well, And I guess I would probably be needing parts from a 82-84 camaro for this conversion correct ?

Now comes another concern, will the actual electric mirror motors bolt into my non power mirror housings ?

My car has 1990 wiring which has the power supply plug for the mirrors just nothing else so hopefully I can just tap into that.

I did this same swap in my 88.
The guts of the early electric mirrors won't swap over from what I'm told, and you have to bust out the glass mirrors to remove the motors from the early car's housings. However, I got my mirrors from a 87 Iroc and installed the motors and mirror glasses in my old housings without a problem.

The wiring is mostly in the Driver's door and what isn't in the door runs with the power lock and power window wires to the passenger side in a plastic conduit.

The wiring for the switch is in the driver's side door, and the switch will bolt into where the old blanking plate or remote joystick went, all you'll need is the bezel from the Camaro.
Everything plugs in so no cutting, splicing or soldering.

Since I put it all back together it'll be difficult to take photos for you, I might be able to snap one of the door switch and wiring since my door panel is still off though.

I am doing the power mirror upgrade to my 1990 Trans Am,I noticed you said your car already had the power wire. Where would I find this in my 90 model? Thanks.
