i just installed a msd 6al box into my car. the car runs fine so far, but it sounnds like the Accel dist is making alot of noise after the install. its just a faint high freq sound, almost sounds like you can hear the rotor and cap arc now. anyone heard of this? i pulled the cap off and checked the inside and all is normal. when i listen to the engine up close its coming from the dis for sure. thanks!

I personally would not put any accell product in my car. I've just had crappy experience with thier plugs, ingition module and wires. I have the Crane Hi6S ignition and BW cap and rotor. No noise whatsoever. I would check your pickup coil and ignition module for noise. If that does not work i'd replace the cap and rotor with something other than accell.!

Your ringing reminds me of a ringing I got when I installed a Crane Hi6 in my 3G...I had the wiring wrong between AB connection at the ignition module ended up with 12vdc on both, engine ran plus ringing. I ended up with a bad ignition module. I replaced module corrected the wire...all is well, no ringing. Not sure if this helps but its worth a thought.
