Just my 2 cents: I don't like HID lights in general. They are not comfortable on meeting cars, and as a passenger on a car with them - I didn't like their characteristics. Further, I'm suspicious of conversion kits labeled H4. That indicates that the HID lamp is just put in place of a H4 halogen lamp. The HID lamp needs the reflector and lens to be specifically designed for it in order to give a correct light projection. 8000K light temperature gives a very blue light. The eye is unable to make use of blue light for focusing and iris control. Ordinary daylight is only 5600K.

Well if you look at the web site, the HID H4 are sealed beam. What i need to know is, are the thirdgen headlights the same lights as the 93-97 Camaro???.

The words Sealed Beam are mentioned yes, but from the pictures and the comment in the installation guide "put the new bulbs in their housings", I deduce that the bulbs are separate, i.e. not sealed beam where you cannot exhange the bulb. So the question still remains whether the reflector and lens is specifically designed for H4 HID bulbs. I'm sure they aren't, or else they'd have the standard HID fitting and not the H4 fitting..
I'm sorry I can't answer your other (real) question.
