hey guys i have a 1989 Pontiac Firebird with a automatic rear hatch. and my problem is i click it clossed i hear the motor. but it clicks and humms as if its gonna lower but does not lower it did a little bit, then nothing. i took off the rear panel. and the noid. was pretty hott? can the problem be my noid is really hot from bieng in the sun all day? and my trying to get the dang lil switch to work????
i first had it stuck down but then i held the button and it moved up. now i went to shut my hatch and the dang thing will grab and lower jus a little. but keeps running and doesnt stop???!!!!!!!!!!!
i need help ASAP my car is my only means of transportation to school thanks
