Short Circuit Finder

Have seen short circuit finder tools in the JC Whitney catalogue and on ebay. Anyone had any experience with these tools?

Re: Short Circuit Finder

IMHO I wouldn't spend the moneyon it myself. You would be better off spending the money on a quality Digital Multimeter, it will do the same things plus a whole lot more. If you want a cheap short finder just buy a self powered test light for $5 or so it is also good for verifying grounds.
