well im working on getting my project car running its an 89 L03 firebird, ive eliminated the TBI and replaced it with a 4160 and a points distributor, right now im waiting for a mini-starter, the paticular one i want is going to take a week to get, so for time being im cleaning up wiring under the hood, therefor i was wondering how to unclip the main harness under the brake booster, if it even unclips, or do i have to remove the (four?) bolts around it, what im wanting to do is to route the harness under the brake booster as i think it would save alot of room, im going to try to attach a picture that would show the paticular harnes im talking about, it has three circles around the harness, thanks in advance, more questions will soon follow

 

any ideas, am i in the wrong tech section?

 

its kinda pressed to gether but theres the 2 boltswhich actually hold each connector together.theres the one on the fire wall you see and a similiar one on the back side or insidde the car.moving it to where you want probably wont fit inside the car because now youre dealing with the brake peddle plus what will you do with the 2"x4" hole in the firewall from the old location?

 

nah i just to move the harness part under the hood, i just want to move it below the booster, but thanks for telling me how to get it apart
