i've got a 84 Camaro, originally a V6 car converted to a V8, and the plastic box on the motor was crushed when the original owner removed the V6.... i've ordered a "New" cardone motor from Advance and the internals of the plastic box wasn't in it. Chevy doesn't make it parts anymore and i'm having trouble finding one that's not crushed. i did notice that G-Bodys have the same motor around the same years, but no good on parts for them either. any suggestions on where to find this part?

you should be able to get it from most any parts house other than autozone.

 

napa, bumper to bumper, carquest, advance auto, autozone, no one can get it......

well, i picked up a junk yard piece yesterday, but i have put a new motor on this thing wanted a new pulse board too, but looks like it'll have to do. thanks for the info on classic industries, but i'm not sure that its the part i need. the washer pump on mine is a seperate piece that will pull out of the cover, i'll have to call them and see if its just the pump motor or the whole housing and board.
