Ignition box or not

I'm going to be rebuilding my 305 this summer and was wondering if you guys thought I should have a new ignition box or not...
I've got a malory 85 series HEI distributor and an accel super coil. I was thinking about the MSD-6A box, or the Accel 300+. Which would you recomend? thanks.

You do not need one. It will be a want and will not give you any more performance. The reason you really want an ignition system like that for example would be if you had insane compression and you needed assistance in adding enough spark.

I run MSD-6AL because I got it cheap (used) and it has a rev limiter.
