I have a 85 TPI 305 TA with a code 32 and 34 with engine light on first start up car for the day , but goes out later after car is warmed up and restarted again ,but then comes back on 25 minuites later. EGR is new, hoses appear to be connected right, I have vaccum on motor side of EGR solenoid and power at the pk/blk wire connecter to solenoid with key in on position, but I'm not sure whats going on with the grey wire, I know there is no opens from ECM pin4 grey wire to EGR solenoid. Any help with this would be apreciated. I know my maf sensor is bad , had EGR problem before maf sensor these parts are hard to find in nova scotia.

 

HAVE YOU CHECKED THE EGR TEMP DIAG SWITCH?? IF THAT SWITCH IS BAD IT WILL TRIGGER CODE 32 UNDER INITIAL START UP BASICALLY IT GROUNDS THE ECM AND OPENS THE EGER CONSTANT, TRY UN PLUGGING THIS SWITCH AT THE PLUG SEE WHAT HAPPENS, IF SES LIGHT DOES NOT COME ON YOUR ON THE RIGHT TRACK. BY THE WAY GM DISCONTINUED THIS PAT IN FEB OF '09
