Re: Help

What caused you to replace the switch? Sounds like you got a bad bulb or socket in the brake lights - brake light filament or wire laying on parking light filament or wire. Step on the brakes and power is fed back into the parking light circuit. Check brake light bulbs first.

Re: Help

Let me see if I got this right - you have brake lights with the parking lights off - when you turn parking lights on, you lose brake lights. Is that correct?
If so,
Sounds like you are losing a ground back there. Run a temp ground wire for the brake lights and see what happens. Can't recall if the lights share a ground, but check all grounds back there.
