SES light doesn't flash

I just replaced the white plastic that holds the gages because the one I had the SES quit working.
Now the SES light comes on after driving a very short distance. When I try to pull the codes the SES light doesn't flash at all, just stays on. I'm sure I am doing this correctly (many years of experience).
I did a search and couldn't find any thread with this same issue after 5 pages.
ty for your help

Re: SES light doesn't flash

If all you did was repace the plastic then its more than likey a poor connection issue. Check the printed circuit paper and make sure that there are no probs with it. Use an DVM and trace all the circuits then check the connections at the plug. I would say thats where your problem is.
