Finally got the gauge cluster lights working!

Over about the last year or so during vacations from school I have been trying to fix my gauge cluster lights. The 5amp cluster fuse would blow every time I turned on the lights. First I tried replacing the head light switch. No dice. Then I tried looking for faulty wiring. I finally considered the possibility of one of the dash lights blowing in such a way that it acted like a short circuit. So today I pulled the gauge cluster and tested each bulb. One tested bad, despite looking good. I replaced that bulb and put everything back together, and every thing now works! I can now drive at night. Good stuff.

So I just wanted to say thanks to everyone on the forum who has helped. I swear I would have sold the car years ago without this forum.
