opposite headlight rotation
opposite headlight rotation
hey there
i have an 88 firebird formula.
i have a 3 wired driver head light motor and a 2 wired headlight motor on the passenger side.
is it possible to have them workin in sync?
b.c they both rotate opposite. when one goes up, the other goes down. vice versa.
what should i do?

Re: opposite headlight rotation
The wiring is different on older models. As you need the relays to swap in the newer ones to a older car. I image that is you problem. Install a proper one.

Re: opposite headlight rotation
Both of your motors should be two wire. I am fairly certain you have an incorrect motor. The earlier models used three wire motors when they had individual relays. The cars with the firewall mounted module have two wire motors. 87 was the first year for the two wire setup.
