whres no.1 on the dist cap?

i tore this car apart ,now i'm putting it back together.the problem is i didn't mark no .1 on the distributor cap.does anyone know which one it is ?

anywhere you want it to be.
wherever you start #1 just follow the firing order around the cap. everyone usually starts #1 by the hei and tach plug in and faces it towards the #1 cylinder. firing order is 18436572 just point the rotor at #1 when #1 cylinder is at tdc compression stroke and you will be good to go. static time your motor to 6 to 10 degrees on the timing tab. drop in the distributor pointed at 1 on the cap wherever you decided to put it..
