Wiring Nightmere!

OK, as of this thread, now the car starts. However, it sounds like the car is running on 4 cylinders. I unplugged the tps and map sensor and I only get a code 12 saying I have no codes. BUT, I should have codes with these items unplugged. What or where should I look for a wiring mishap for the computer to get no codes, yet the codes do flash a code 12?

Re: Wiring Nightmere!

There are two fuses powering the injectors. Each bank gets power from one fuse. Check the pink wires on the injectors for +12V with the key on.

You can also put a scope on the black injector wire on each bank and see if the injectors are being fired by the ECM. We have two wires from the ECM to the injectors. One fires the left bank, one firest the right bank. Both at the same time but that's not the point here. My point is to check the ground pulses from the ECM to see if maybe one wire is interrupted somewhere.

Hope this helps.
