Yeah the temperatue gauge in my car is broke. Now i have the haynes and it was saying where the coolant temperature sensor was and i went to napa picked up the gauge that is suppose to fix the gauge and make it work but it was different or i am looking in the wrong place. I know i am not the smartest man but don't tell the wife.

Now it did work but it overheated a couple of summers ago and i filled it up with out putting anti freeze. I got fed up on paying the gas prizes and it sat for a winter and the radiator froze. So ever since then it hasn't worked. But i got a new radiator and it works fine but that damn temp gauge stays red line.

Just wanting to know where it could be located.

 

One day the temp gage quit in my 86 T/A, I bought a new temp sensor and replaced it and still nothing, the gage would only move to the first line and sit there. I pulled out the sensor and replaced it with a mechanical gage and had to put the fan on a toggle swithch as it is controlled by the temp sensor. BUT now the car spark knocks like crazy under HARD excelleration.
