As part of a serpentine kit I received a CS130 alternator to convert from my original SI unit. Through some research I have discovered that I need to purchase AC Delco 8077 or 8078 for my 1984 Camaro Z28, but how do I know which one? My stock alternator had two wire plug, red wire to alternator output and black wire (which in all reality I don't know where it comes from, maybe 12V ignition source or maybe directly from my voltage gauge) has anybody have the same setup?
