code 36 unanswered questions

hey
so ive just spent like 3 hours carefully reading all the code 36 and related posts, and i need to see a picture of this so called glowing red wire. i dont see anything capable of glowing like that in mine, and have yet to ever see it glow. also, the ses light also comes on when i drive on the highway for about 20 mins, with the same code popping up. sometimes it goes away by itself also when doing that. i replaced my maf sensor like 6 months ago, but have also pointed out just now that i can hear my fuel pump running for about 2-3 seconds after i shut down my car. My car will initiate the code right after it bogs down kind of under hard acceleration. And my last question, what makes the car run like crap when the light is on? (by crap i mean not as good acceleration) is it the burn off in the maf that is making it mess up, or is it the computer telling it not to be a nice car to drive? lol

any help would be awesome!
thanks.

P.S. i just remembered i bought some maf cleaner the other day, and after using it the car ran phenomenal for like a day, AWESOME acceleration. only to return to ses light acceleration the day after tho

Re: code 36 unanswered questions

i dont think youl ever be able to see it i think it only kicks on while driving.
the glowing red wire is the wire that goes across the litle terminals in the maf itself when enine is running look through the maf and may see it.
the smoke depends on what color it is when start up if its like a blue color its your valve guide seals in your cylender head laking oil on the pistons while engine is off. what your seeing is oil being burned up.
