OK, so i go to the dealership and have a new key made for my daughter's 92 Camaro since the resistor chip got knocked out of the old one. Come to find out "according to the Chevy house" that the sensor must be bad, since the key didn't work, and they want upwards of $300 to replace it. does anyone have a decent harness diagram for bypassing this obsolete p.o.s.? Barring that, is it a starter kill, and if so can i run a pushbutton starter with the key still responsible for power to everything to the fuel pump, etc......??
