electrical gremlins

okay everyone on here i am completly lost and i dont know what to do or where to start cause i dont have the slightest idea of how to work with the electrical system on my camaro. i have a problem with my headlights on the drivers side always being dim, they are just pathetic. i have to have the high beams on just to see anything on the road at night and ive gotten a fix it ticket for it. also when my lights are on my left turn signal light in my gauge cluster gets stuck on too and my turn signal doesnt work right, another thing it does is sometimes both signal lights get stuck on and my gauge cluster goes dim and my tach needle either pegs or goes all the way to 0 and my oil press gauge pegs. please somebody help me here i have to fix this problem in the next few days or else i have to pay 240 dollars for the fix it ticket and i cant afford it right now. to anyone that helps.

Re: electrical gremlins

That sure sounds like a bad ground somewhere. I would recomment searching under the hood with a good light to find every possible ground you can (on the chassis or the block, doesn't matter). Then I would remove the ground cables, clean the ring terminals and reinstall them.

Of course, it's good to disconnect the battery beforehand.

Hope this helps.
