i have not a clue what this is....
first off i changed the cam and intake runners on my 85 tpi. after this i had two problems.
1= the voltage would slowly drop off at idle.
i cleaned up the main ground to the alternator bracket, and i think that fixed it, but at this time i dont have a volt meter to check. but the battery hasnt died yet so thats a good sign.
2= the car idles fine, but if i floor it the rpms stay the same and the car sounds like it on a rev limiter. if i just give it a little gas the motor gives a few more rpms(up to about 3-4k).
the battery and the alternator are new. its getting spark and the fuel pressure is good. i have MSD, i tried it with it hooked up and with the stock ignition.
i dont know if this means anything but i unpluged the maf and the motor reved with no problem what-so-ever.
could the two problems be linked together?? could it be a bad ground?

Re: i have not a clue what this is....
i just put a new maf power relay on it. no change.
if i slowly creap up on the throttle it will rev clean and as soon as i hear it sputter if i let off just a little it cleans right back up.
