steering column
Will 1984 z-28 steering column interchange with 1990 rs column? Both cars are v-8 if that matters. Just wondering if I would have to change any wires on the bottom of the column.

most likely the 1990 is a vats car meaning vehicle antitheft system.... might have to have someone else chime in here as to whether or how much that will make a difference

You will have to leave your original key ziptied with the original lock cylinder under the dash somewhere to get the vats to let it start. Other than that I never had a problem with any of the plugs or switches not working.
