Install or Swap?
Ok, Got me a 91 RS Vert. Pretty much stock. Everything is manual. The tranny, the locks, the windows, and the mirrors. and i wanna change all that except one. lol.
So, can anyone speak from experience? Is it easier to install power windows, mirrors, and locks... or go to the junk yard, and pull the entire door?
yes, i'll be getting a paint job soon, so the color match doesn't matter.
Thanks guys.

Re: Install or Swap?
Probably be easier to swap the entire door. I did the conversion on my 91 Z over the winter. Pulled out all of the power stuff from one door, and installed it all in the car (didnt feel like driving around a metalic blue Camaro with purple doors). Complete PITA, compounded by the fact I am using 4th gen switches for the stuff. Actually ... it wasnt too bad wiring everything up, just time consuming. The most frustrating part is drilling/grinding off the old rivets that hold the window motors and lock actuators in, and getting a rivet gun that works. So, which ever way you go, DO NOT get the big rivet gun from Harbor Freight, its a complete pile of dog squeeze and will **** you off more than the swap itself.
