lt1 intake and electronics on a gen I block?

Axle/Gears: 4th gen 3.42 auburn
lt1 intake and electronics on a gen I block?
I have the opertunity to get a set of lt1 heads intake and wireharnes and was wondering if it was possible to strap that onto a genI block.
I know the heads can be modified to fit and that would allow the intake to fit but would all the electronics be able to hook up? the only thing that i think may be a problem would be the opti wires.... is there any way to hook the opti system up to a gen I block? I cant really see a way to fake the optical input.
