The other day I replaced the aftermarket fog lights with a set of factory fog lights on my 89 Iroc vert.I had to splice in the factory bulb connector ends as they had been cut off to accomodate the aftermarkets lights.Once connected I tried to get them to work only to find out that the wiring behind the dash switch had started to fry.All I saw was alot of white smoke so I yanked the switch off the connector and shut the headlight switch off.The wires had lost the insulation and were all bare on the connector.I would like to avoid having this happen again so any help would be greatly appreciated
