I just bought a new vats ignition switch to put in my '89 gta but when i came to fit it the switch would not fit,so i think it must have a earlier column fitted.My car has had vats bypassed but i was going to put it back to vats.Is the housing on later models different than earlier ones?.I know it is possible to buy just the housing as a repair kit but if i buy for later model will it fit on to my earlier column?.Thanks.
