plz HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have a a 86 T/A w/ a digi dash well i unplug the battery so i could change my cap and rotor well i did not know if you had to or not but any way may digi dash is on the fritz now but my right door the sensor is messed up now with me unplugin the battery when i drive / step on the gas it does a weird beeb and then does the systems check... now im pretty shore it has nothing to do w/ me changin the cap and rotor but i think its to let you know it sayin the door is open but it is the sesor that is messed up so what can i do about it and the person who had it before me must of did something to it to mack it stop so if someone who knows how to use the digi dash plz help me!!!!!!! thnks

So I figerdout the problum the only ? I have now is that I have 6 bosch platnium 4s in and the other 2 I have to do tommrrow but the car jerks when I do over 45 so is that from the 2 plugs I have not changed yet or could it be from the new msd cap and rotor I put in????????

I would check to make shure you have the firing order right first. Make sure your plug wires are tight and not touching the exhaust.

If it's missfiring, get a pair a spark plug wire pliers, very carefully pull each wire off the cap,(DON'T GET ZAPPED!) Wich ever cylinder/cylinders don't make a difference will be the ones missfiring.

Personally I've never had good luck with platinum plugs, I put them in my truck and it ran like crap, put the regular ac delco plugs in and it ran great.
