Sequential tail lights?

I have an 89 Firebird Formula 350 that I am wanting to do some rewiring of the tail lights. I like the style that is on the car, not the early firebird style or the GTA style, and I am thinking of trying to rewire the tail lights so that all four lights turn on for the brakes and not just the 2 outer ones. I am also wanting to put on the sequential tail lights on the car as well. Is it possible to do this on this style of tail lights, basicly not using the factory turn signal anymore but the brake lights would be used as the turn signals. For those that have put them on the car, would I have to change out the sockets to do this or can I use the factory sockets that are already installed on the car. Thinking of going with the STS-1 from webelectronics if it is possible. Let me know if I am looking in the right direction for this. Any help from anyone is greatly appreciated.
