Ignition Problem - No Spark

Hey Guys,

I've been searching this site and troubleshooting (and replacing parts) for two weeks now, and I still can't find my problem. I was driving my car at 55 mph down the road when it "just dies." I was unable to get it restarted so I had it towed to my house. When the car got back to the house I put in a new distributor assembly (without troubleshooting anything, as I already had the dist.). I started the car up and set the timing - no problems. However, when I took it for a drive 10 minutes later, it died again and refused to start (towed again). Upon investigation, I found I have no spark from my coil (and still have no spark from my coil). The car ran fine (although briefly) after I installed the new distributor, so I know it's in correctly. So far, I have installed the following new parts:

New Accel Billet-tech Dist. Assembly (cap, rotor, ign. module, pick up, etc.)
New Accel coil
New (reman) ECM
New battery (the car sits for long periods of time)

I have verified 12v to the coil via the ignition switch, and the car turns over just fine. The coil is just not firing. All the fuses are good. I've checked the ground on the back of both heads (are there anymore grounds that I should check??). Any suggestions (VATS, ignition switch) ??????

Thanks in advance - Mike......

Did you ever find out what the problem was? I have a similar situation and can't seem to figure out why I'm not getting any spark.
Thanks, Nick

if you are certain all the parts you replaced are new and free of defects,i guess its time to start inspecting wire harness problems, perhaps poor connections?I assume the memcal is secure and tight?and you are absolutely sure you have all the right parts for your vehicle?
