sigh more Vats

Ok.... first specs, 91 RS 3.1 ltr v6 with a T5 manual transmission..... second the problem.... Mainly having previous owners jury a lot of crap on it....

actual problem .... Cranks but will not start, its not the key still ohms at 6040 like it should.... plugged in new lock cylinder with old key at the connector for circuit security light still on only cranks....fuel pump is engaging and can shortly make it run if i flutter the gas pedal quickly, but will not start. Can not find the module for the life of me....pretty much removed all but the dash its self.

The master tech that i work with looked at the wiring diagram of the vats system in my car via mitchell.... appears that you could just ground the starter enable and fuel pump wires to bypass it is that true?

Somebody help i need my car its all i got at the moment need to get it running can not be a burden on my parents for too much longer. Email me or reply either or.

Re: sigh more Vats

if you can make it run shortly doesnt sound like vats is your prob. What did the car do when you last drove it? Have you checked your fuel pressure to make sure ur getting gas?

Re: sigh more Vats

ok i found out what happened but im still unable to figure out the problem. they bypassed it with a cooling fan relay from and older gm. but security light on wont start fuel pressure good. spark good. but no fire im guessing computer is still not letting injectors pee..thats my guess.
replaced the relay but didnt help either

is there a way i can bypass or jump the reference signal to computer
