Re: Window Motor Wiring help...
Go to the tech articles and look at "1986 wiring diagrams". They have the wiring schematic for power windows. Also check out the fuse block wiring schematic and you'll know what i'm talking about.
Basically from your fuse block (window curcuit breaker) you have two wires...(blue plug into fuse block) a pink and a pink with white stripe. This leads down to the left of your driver front seat and leads underneath your driver seat to underneath your center console. This is your power wire to both your switches. From there connected to the plugs for the switches is one black wire from each plug, these come off about 6-8 inches from those plugs to a crimpable ring terminal that is your ground, and is grounded out somewhere near your e-brake. From there you have 4 other wires to look at, for your driver side (white/clear plug into switch) should be a dark blue wire and a brown wire...for your passenger side (should be blue plug into switch) there is a light blue and tan. Both of these lead back underneath your driver seat up to the front and the dark blue/brown leads into your driver door while the light blue/tan leads across your car underneath your dash into your passenger door. That is the complete setup.
